Movie Blogs

I like reading movie blogs. I enjoy seeing what other people think and what they have to say about the movies they’ve seen. I also like being able to share my thoughts about various movies that I’ve seen online too. Blogging is great, and so is the 21st century.

Zombos Closet is one of my favorite movie blogs. As you might imagine, given the name of the site, it’s a blog about horror movies. But he also writes about comic books and other stuff too. Some of the categories with great posts in them include the Asia horror posts, the Italian horror posts, and the Dutch horror posts. (What can I say–I enjoy foreign horror movies.)

You don’t have to be Roger Ebert to write about movies. And I’m sure Ebert would be the first person to agree with that statement. Even if you’re not able to write long paragraphs, you can still share your opinions about movies online. You can post about movies at Twitter or at Facebook, for example, and you can keep your comments short and sweet that way.

And it doesn’t matter what kinds of movies you enjoy either. Someone out there is writing about that genre. I gave an example above of a horror movie blog that I enjoy, and geeks rule the Internet, so horror, scifi, and fantasy movie blogs are well represented. But you can also find movie blogs about foreign films, classic films, romantic comedies, musicals, film noir, you name it.

Spend a little time finding and reading some of the great writing about movies that’s being published online. You’ll be glad you did, I think.
