They are, perhaps, best suited to heavy use in an office environment.

They are one of the veterans of the paper shredder market. Having been around for ages, they’ve had plenty of time to fine tune their craft and currently make shredders that are up to par with the best on the market. Their prices tend to be more affordable than DestroyIt – although it’s still worth checking.
#4 – HSM
These are some of the most sturdy and long-lasting shredders you’ll find anywhere. More than anything else, they seem to prioritize building products that will serve their customers for a lifetime and offer a range that spans small home users to large-scale commercial use.
#5 – Dahle
Another German-made brand, Dahle rounds off our list of five as the “average joe” of the paper shredder market. Manufactured in Germany to high quality standards like the DestroyIt brand – but typically selling for less – they are a popular choice among home users.
All of these brands make quality shredders and the decision as to which to choose is more personal preference (and budget) than anything else.
